exploring the empowerment state ..

Empowerment is a higher state of being [consciousness] that goes beyond the mental constructs designed to protect us from perceived threats,

both physical and emotional,

that the Homo sapiens mind associates with pain.

While I’m not sure of the exact mechanics,

I tend to view the Homo sapiens mind, at a certain level, synonymous to the

ego mind—

as they both are constructs within our psychology, driven by the need to

preserve control, stability, and safety at all costs

aaaaas this behavior in particular ensures the physical survival of ourselves.

These constructs worked wonders in the cave-time era of human existence.

However, nowadays they tend to produce more drawbacks than actual benefits.

More data points of the characteristics of Homo sapiens / the ego mind:

⬇️

  • Fear of failure

  • Need for control

  • Perfectionism

  • Comparison and competitiveness

  • Attachment to rigid beliefs and fixed identities

  • Superficial relationships driven by fear of vulnerability and authenticity (basically a fear of embracing the truth)

  • Resistance to introspection and inner transformation

All of these mentioned inclinations of the ego mind create a restless, unfulfilled, unpeaceful and hyper fixated on the external human being

who is not willing to embrace a fuller spectrum of reality

and

get into a deeper contact with the self ➡️ acknowledging, accepting and embodying the fact that we first and foremost are spiritual beings having a human experience

and that understanding the emotions of self might yet be the most important skill to have if we are seeking contentment 🙂

The sad story is that people who are caught so heavily in the ego mind will never be able to attain a state of empowerment unless they start to expanding their perception

their way of being

their consciousness.

Certain work with the self needs to be done.

Brutally speaking the ones caught in ego mind aren't the ones holding the power - as their actions and behaviours are being driven by Homo sapiens/ego mind.

These actions and behaviors are just a byproduct of striving to maintain control over outcomes, stability, and safety in their lives.

Essentially, this mindset traps an individual in a box,

the boundaries of which extend only as far as one feels in complete control,

where outcomes are predictable,

and where safety means avoiding challenges and anything beyond your immediate comprehension.

This way of being is opposite to growth, expansion and further human evolution.

To get out of the box, you must liberate yourself from the constraints imposed by the ego mind; this journey in itself is the pathway towards empowerment.

To get out from this ego trap you have to consciously and consistently choose to come closer towards your soul [ spirit ].

Your choice is the game changer here

as exactly and precisely it holds the potential to change everything in your life.

Some of my favourite practicals on how to get out from the ego trap:

Because it’s the mind that entraps you, you must start playing the ‘mind game’.

This game consists of 2 parts:

  1. Start with noticing the limitations that are active in your mind - the stuff that ego mind imposes on itself, which is an intrinsic part of your human experience (thoughts that are putting you not in the state of ‘ I’m empowered ’ 😉)

  2. Once you noticed [ recognized ] the limitations active in your mind, the task is to sit with them in deep introspection, questioning their validity and uncovering how and why they are untrue\. I’m confident in saying that these limitations are untrue because I’m aware of the c0re qualities of every human being walking on this earth. Someone and something that we all are before traumatic life experiences have ‘hard ened’ us up.

SO,

As you choose to let go of the ego mind imposed limitations and obstacles to your growth, you move closer to your spirit

This force of your spirit vessels you in in a completely different way of living & perceiving life.

This force is so potent that it draws you in and starts to altering your life gradually.

Onwards the only resistance that it encounters is the resistance coming from you

by you not wanting to lean completely and utterly into your spirit.

These are the exact times when our ego mind peeks out and tries to take the upper hand by making us rationally accountable

What if I’m wrong to trust this?

What if this isn’t real?

What if I’m crazy?

What will others think of me if I change and start doing xyz?

Am I ready to let go of everything I knew is the ultimate truth to life and addopt a more empowered way of living

And it's up to you whether you choose to ride the familiar wave OR explore new ways of being, operating, and functioning

This scenario of our ego mind peeking out with an attempt to take over control will repeat itself a million, gazillion times.

Look at these scenarios as OPPORTUNITIES for you to choose to position yourself closer to your spirit and forge your way towards empowerment ↔️ this journey comes with its own difficulties, obstacles and tests—how else would you learn and grow?

Since I can't help but elaborate on this topic

let’s squish in even more personal thoughts & observations into this post

  • Empowerment = connection with the soulful aspect of self [ with the spirit ].

  • In this particular context the notions ‘power’ or ‘empowered’ transcends the typical understanding of them which usually is associated with control and dominance. Instead, it roots itself in the recognition that we are all fuelled by a greater and larger than our individuality force. By connecting with this force we are able to experience highly fulfilling, satisfying and Heavenly-like life experience 👼

  • The connection with your spirit is being established and simultaneously the pathway towards empowerment is being forged by you constantly and consistently making your way out of the limited perceptions of self (the ego mind, the box that I’ve referred to earlier).

  • By making the effort of not being in this box, you are creating space for a greater force to flood your being and direct your existence towards the path that is for the betterment of all that there is (including the betterment of yours).

  • This process of going in opposition of the psychological reflexes that we as humans have without a doubt cultivates an enormous capacity of inner strength and resilience. These two qualities are a part of why and how you become empowered in this process of letting go the ego limitations.

  • By getting out of your ego mind you become more in tune with a higher power that resides there internally within each of us, patiently waiting to be (re)connected with. I like to refer to it as ‘your spirit [soul ]’.

  • By freeing yourself from the ego's grip and moving closer to your soul, you establish a deeper, more intimate connection with your spiritual self.

  • This connection through time makes you see, believe and learn that everything that is happening in your life despite of the labelings of “good” and “bad” is actually for your highest good,

and that this highest good is your spiritual growth.

  • Empowerment feels like unshakable trust in yourself and simultaneously in the unfolding path of your life.

  • Empowerment feels like profound peace that you are experiencing within.

  • Empowerment is deeply connected with the desire to be of service to others. Personal fullfilment is found in the pursuits of making this world at least a tiny bity bit better place for life to live at 💗

  • State of empowerment is synonymous and goes hand in hand with a healthy psyché - a psyché that had reconnected with the unconscious parts of self (more about what is a healthy psyché can be found here).

  • Once you receive this info, it becomes undeniably within your power to consciously choose which polar opposite force you wish to be guided by:

The shift from ego-driven to spirit-led living is a journey that can take months, years, or even decades.

It's a process of you expanding your perspective and being able to view the world from a wider angle that provides you a more realistic picture of life and existence itself.

It’s the movement from egoistic consciousness fuelled by fear and limitations to somethings that all words fall short to describe in 100 % accuracy 🤍.
